About Waving Alien

What is it?

     Waving Alien was going to be a site for writers. How'd that work out? Not to good! There are plenty of those kinds of sites around anyway. You know, the places where you can get your own stuff published, and actually have other readers comment on your work. Well between a general lack of interest by the readers we were being visited by, and the fact that we seemed to get more attention from hackers and spammers posting junk in the comments, forums and story submissions, WA didn't quite take off as we had planned.

     This version of WA is for readers. It's entertainment. It's full of sports and politics, horror and science fiction short stories, rants and humor. It's all there in the menus.

     The Mike, (Michael J Smith) has carried the ball for the most part recently. His work resides almost entirely in the Open Mike section.

     The Hal, (Hal Tenny) has written most of the short stories and takes care of the web duties as well.

     Waving Alien has been around since 2001.
