2007 Bin Laden Tape Fake
September 12, 2007
A small independent video production company,
Five Guys With Pretty Good Equipment, has released a report of their analysis of the September 7, 2007 Bin Laden tape and declared it to be a fake. The company’s VP, Bill Smithers says that while he does
not dispute U.S. intelligence reports that confirm the
authenticity of Bin Ladens’ voice, the man seen on the
video tape is definitely not Bid Laden.
"I don’t know how anybody can look at that
tape and not go, like – wow, that is so not Bin Laden.
" Said Smithers. "The first time I saw a still
from the tape I laughed my a… I laughed really hard and
couldn’t believe that all the talking heads were tryin to figure out like, what was up with the dude’s beard. It’s like - fake!"
Smithers said that the large block of video
corruption in the tape was simply an inability to keep
the over dubbed voice synced properly.
Originally the independent company looked for
evidence of tampering such as insertions, overlays,
use of cgi and other forms of digital manipulation.
When they found none they turned their attention to the audio and immediately found several suspicious segments.
At that point a friend of Smithers, who wishes
to remain anonymous to ensure that he doesn’t get,
"wiped off the face of the earth"; presented
Smithers and his fellow producers photos and a copy of
a contract between a Los Angeles based celebrity
look alike company and an actor based in New York.
Further investigation produced a copy of a
contract between the celebrity look a like company and a
well known contributor to the RNC.
"The republicans will do anything at this
point to get the focus off the Iraq War," said
Smithers, "and using Bin Laden has always worked
for them in the past."
When asked what he thought about the rambling,
unfocused message the fake Bin Laden presented to the
American people Smithers laughed even harder and said,
"Well here’s the really awesome part. The idiot
fake celebrity company hired a consultant for the DNC
to write the script!"
